Florida senior Billy Horschel shot 3-under 68 in the final round of the NCAA Southwest Regional to power the Gators to a two-shot win over Texas Tech. Horschel finished second individually at 1-over 214.

Texas Tech, Texas, top-seeded Stanford, and Michigan rounded out the top five teams that advanced to the NCAA Championship.

Florida began the the final round in third place, four shots off of Texas’s lead. The Longhorns shot 17-over 301 in the final round. The Gators’ 10-over 294 was the second-best score of the day.

Lamar’s Hugues Joannes earned an invitational bid to the NCAA Championship by way of his tie for fourth. Lamar finished sixth by three shots and failed to advance.
