Player of the Week: Oliver Schniederjans
Oliver Schniederjans, of Powder Springs, Ga., won the AJGA’s Polo Golf Junior Classic, played at PGA National’s Champion Course in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Schniederjans, 16, entered the tournament off a second-place at the Ping Invitational in October. The Polo was his first AJGA victory. To get there, Schniederjans beat Ping winner Emiliano Grillo in the quarterfinals, Cameron Wilson in the semifinals and Cory Whitsett, 1 up, in the final match. Schniederjans is ranked No. 18 in the Golfweek/Titleist Junior Rankings.
