Player of the Week: Michael Werenski
Michael Werenski, of South Hadley, Mass., shot 1-under 143 (75-68) at the International Junior Golf Tour event at Oyster Reef Golf Club in Hilton Head, S.C., to win by two shots.
Werenski is 15, but plays in the 16-19 division. His final-round 68 was his career low, and helped him overcome a three-shot deficit entering the final round. Werenski also finished T-9 at the IJGT event at Traditional National Golf Club in Hardeeville, S.C., last month.
