The Wisconsin women’s golf team won its first 54-hole event in 10 years at the Johnie Imes Invitational Tuesday, beating Tulsa by three shots.

Wisconsin’s last 54-hole victory came Oct. 19, 1999 at the Bale Chevrolet-Honda Invitational in Little Rock, Ark.

The Badgers closed with a 13-over 301 at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Mo., for a 45-over 909 total. Tulsa shot a final-round 306 for a 912 total. Missouri finished another shot back.
