JEFF BABINEAU

Winning team: U.S., 18 1/2 - 15 1/2. Would like to think the match will be closer, but really, how many International players really seem to be in form?

Man of the Match: Justin Leonard, 4-0-0. Kenny Perry would be the sentimental pick, but Leonard will provide the U.S. some steady leadership. And being home the week of the Tour Championship means he’ll be fresher than most.

JIM MCCABE

Winning Team: U.S., 18 - 16. Great team depth keeps another cup in American hands.

Man of the Match: Jim Furyk, 4-0. No, it won’t end his winning drought, but it will feel good.

ALEX MICELI

Winning Team: U.S., 19 - 15. The U.S. has the No. 1 and No. 2 players in the world, along with anchors Jim Furyk and Zach Johnson. On the other side, there are few go-to guys, and the captain just had shoulder surgery and separated from his wife last week. It is clearly an International camp in disarray.

Man of the Match: Phil Mickelson. He may be the hottest player in the world. With his putter finally living up to its and his reputation in Atlanta, Lefty is ready to take a jump-start into 2010.

JEFF RUDE

Winning team: Internationals, 17 1/2 - 16 1/2. Down 5-1-1 in the series, Internationals have more urgency to win, an important motivator.

Man of the Match: Geoff Ogilvy. This much we know: The Aussie can play some serious match play.
