Tennessee rolled to a 19-shot victory Sunday at its own Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship.

The Lady Vols finished at 4-over 868 at Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn., and were led by Nathalie Mansson. The sophomore from Stockholm, Sweden, bogeyed her final hole to fall into a playoff, then won the individual title over Louisville’s Laura Anderson on the fifth extra hole. Both players finished at 3-under 213.

It was Mansson’s first college victory.

Tennessee senior Ginny Brown finished third at 1-under 215 and senior Diana Cantu (219) tied for eighth.

The Vols’ 19-shot victory margin was the largest in the 13 years of the event.

Louisville posted 17-over 305 in the final round and finished runner-up at 887. South Carolina (889) was third and Kent State (897) finished fourth.

Tennessee, No. 22 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, opened the season with a fourth-place finish Sept. 14 at the Duramed Cougar Classic and followed with a sixth-place showing Oct. 11 at the Tar Heel Invitational.

The Vols’ victory was their first since 2006.
