Grayson Murray, of Raleigh, N.C., shot a 6-under 146 (68-68) at Pine Needles in Southern Pines, N.C., to win the Golfweek Junior Series event by nine shots.
Murray, 16, was the only player to shoot under par at the tournament. He holed out for eagle at the par-4 12th hole with a knock-down sand wedge from 104 yards. Murray won the North and South Junior earlier this summer, and also made appearances at the U.S. Junior and U.S. Amateur (where he made a hole in one).
