Dressed to impress – kind of

NORTON, Mass. – Because Tiger Woods completed his final round at the Deutsche Bank Championship before television coverage kicked in Monday afternoon, you may not have seen the guy dressed in the tiger costume that followed Woods around TPC Boston for all 18 holes.
Too bad, because the guy deserves some credit.
This was one of the better tiger outfits I’ve seen outside the ropes, bigger and brighter than any I can remember. Think Tony the Tiger after 1,000 bowls of Frosted Flakes, and perhaps a few orange Highlighters.
He said he bought the costume on eBay for $100.
“He lost a few pounds today, there’s no doubt,” said Woods when asked about it after the round.
“He took his head off there on No. 1, and he was dripping wet.”
He took his head off on No. 18, too, after Woods failed to connect on his outstretched tiger paw on the walk from the 18th green to the scoring trailer. (To be fair, Woods may not have seen him.)
With a stunned look on his face, he put the head back on as Woods disappeared into the crowd.
The face on the costume didn’t change, of course, but he still looked sad.
