Bobby Wyatt, of Mobile, Ala., shot 6-under 210 (66-73-71) at TPC Sawgrass’ Stadium Course in Ponte Vedra, Fla., to win the Junior Players Championship by three shots.
Wyatt, 17, held at least a share of the lead for all three rounds. The win marked Wyatt’s first in an AJGA invitational, but is his second AJGA victory, the first at the 2008 Club Car Junior. The No. 10-ranked player in the Golfweek/Titleist Junior Rankings has committed to Alabama for next fall.
