U.S. teams win Topy Cup
From Golfweek’s Japan bureau, the results are in from the Topy Cup. The Arizona State women, the defending NCAA champs, swept the top three individual spots en route to a dominating victory. Arizona State’s Jaclyn Sweeney won the individual title.
The Washington men, Golfweek’s preseason No. 3 team, won the men’s team title by four shots over Tohoku Fukushi. Washington’s Richard Lee was the low American man. He finished second overall, two shots behind Tohoku Fukushi’s Yoshinori Fujimoto.
