Junior Fantasy results: Heather Farr Classic

Julie Williams showed off her prognostication skills in the first Junior Fantasy event of the season, picking up 80 points for her selections at last week’s AJGA’s Heather Farr Classic in Mesa, Ariz. Ryan Lavner was a distant second at 35 points, Dan Mirocha had a strong pick in the girls division, and two-time defending champion Eric Soderstrom, well, he’s looking forward to the next event:

JULIE WILLIAMS (80 points): Jeffrey Kang finished second in the boys division, and Alison Lee held on for a one-shot victory in the girls division.

RYAN LAVNER (35 points): Again, Kang came in second in Arizona, and Jackie Chang shot a second-round 70 to sneak into the top 15 in the girls division.

DAN MIROCHA (30 points): Rachel Morris finished second, a stroke behind Lee, in the girls division, and Trey Kaahanui missed the cut.

ERIC SODERSTROM (0 points): A week to forget, after neither Ben Itterman nor Danielle Frasier made the cut.

Next event: Exide Technologies Junior Open at the Country Club of the South in Jones Creek, Ga., April 23-25.

Scoring: Win (50 points), runner-up (30 points), top-5 (20 points), top-10 (10 points), top-20 (5 points). Zero points for anything outside the top 20. Bonus points when specified. (Only rule: You can’t pick the same player two consecutive weeks.)
