Green is the theme at the Masters

While the green jacket remains hung in the Butler cabin, many players (Tiger included) seem to be getting in the right frame of mind – by wearing green!
Like I’ve said before, either they’re reading my blogs or they’re just fashion forward.
Or it could be the simple fact that this is Augusta National and its green lushness is just destined to be part of every golfer’s wardrobe this week. Either way, I find the coincidence interesting. The best part is the creativeness with green that I’ve come across.
The meanest green of the day Thursday had to be Japan’s Ryo Ishikawa, who was decked out in head-to-toe green. I know this may sound odd – it looked quite sharp.
Then there were Robert Karlsson and Martin Kaymer, who practically coordinated their outfits Thursday. I don’t think that was the plan, but they looked embarrassingly adorable.
My main man, Luke Donald, sported a lucky RLX green outfit. But the lucky part didn’t really work in his favor (74). Maybe it’s the fact that he’s an Englishman disguised as an Irishman?
At least we know the green (stripes) worked Thursday for Tiger. But will he leave Augusta National Sunday wearing the same color?
