Louisville captured its fourth Big East Conference Championship on Tuesday at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Fla.

The Cardinals, No. 31 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, posted a final-round 304, their lowest round of the tournament, to pull away from No. 79 South Florida, which started the day just two shots back.

Louisville finished at 56-over 920.

The Bulls, attempting to pull off an upset and win the league’s automatic regional qualifying spot, placed second despite carding the low round of the tournament (296) in the second round.

No. 39 Notre Dame finished third.

Louisville junior Sara-Maude Juneau won the individual title, becoming the third Cardinal to win the Big East crown. Juneau shot 75 in the final round for a 4-over 220 total to finish six shots clear of Notre Dame’s Annie Brophy and South Florida’s Shena Yang.
