Jackson State wins 3rd straight SWAC title

Jackson State won its third consecutive SWAC Championship on Wednesday to earn the league’s automatic qualifying spot into the NCAA postseason.
Alabama State was second.
Grambling State’s Jonathan Coleman posted rounds of 72-69-78 to win the individual title by six shots over Alabama State’s Sam Stachan and Jackson State’s Maurice Jefferies.
Jackson State has won 22 conference titles in program history.
