‘Idol’ judge, LPGA players look fab at gala

Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest couldn’t be found, but a foursome of our favorite lady golfers – Brittany Lincicome, Meredith Duncan, Lisa Strom and Danielle Downey – showed plenty of talent last weekend. Why? To help a great cause and rub shoulders with a slice of Hollywood.
“American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi hosted the inaugural Celebrity Golf Tournament and Gala at the Golden Hills Golf and Turf Club in Ocala, Fla., on April 24. All proceeds from the event went to the Phoenix House rehabilitation center in nearby Citra, Fla.
The event brought out the celebrity in everyone’s outfits, too. For a non-golfer, DioGuardi sure knew how to spiff it up on the course. She was sporting a sassy aqua-blue polo with adorable black capris. Lincicome was looking as adorable as ever in an ultra-leggy black skort and a low, white v-neck polo.
The greatest part about the event was the gala that followed – a night filled with dancing and fun where the LPGA starlets were decked out in dresses. These girls clean up well. Duncan, Strom and Downey coordinated their look in slinky black numbers, while Lincicome spiced it up in a hot blue-and-white print ensemble. But DioGuardi took it up a notch. She wore a gorgeous, strapless platinum number by BCBG Maxaria.
All the participants looked like celebrities. It was terrific to see the LPGA players supporting a great cause and looking great while doing it!
