PGA Championship: Round 3
Many players took advantage of excellent scoring conditions in Round 3 of the PGA Championship.
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. – His work week stretching into a rare Saturday appearance, but only thanks to lengthy fog delays, Sergio Garcia made no mistake about it – he was ready to rest.
Having signed for a 3-under 69 that left him 3-over par and two shots outside the cut at the 92nd PGA Championship, Garcia autographed a few golf balls, but shook his head when reporters approached.
He said last week that he’d take a few months off after his duty was over at Whistling Straits, and apparently he means it.
“I’m on holiday,” he said. “I don’t do interviews when I’m on holiday.”
