Ai Miyazawa, of Japan, shot 9-over 153 (77-76) at Black Diamond Ranch’s Ranch and Quarry Courses in Lecanto, Fla., and won the FCWT’s Black Diamond Ranch Challenge in a playoff.
Miyazawa, 17, held a share of the first-round lead at Black Diamond Ranch, but struggled to a front-nine 42 in Round 2. She rallied for a 2-under 34 on the back nine, including an 18th-hole birdie that put her in the playoff, which she won on the second extra hole.
