Baddeley the next to wear Travis Mathew
Wednesday, February 3, 2010
He will never be known as Aaron dresses Baddeley again.
Friend and fellow PGA Tour member, Dean Wilson, gave Aaron that nickname a few years back. Baddeley said the nickname came from his loud, bright ensembles.
So with style being a part of Baddeley’s image, it’s no major surprise he’s jumping on the Travis Mathew trendy-train, which is definitely a nice addition for the TM brand.
Baddeley is not afraid embrace fashion trends. In 2002, he was one of the white belt pioneers with J. Lindeberg, and was known for wearing bold colors, funky patterned pants and taking chances with how his outfits matched. In my opinion, Baddeley has never been a bad dresser nor has he ever come close to being labeled as a poorly dressed. He sported J. Lindeberg from 2002-06 and Original Penguin from 2006-09.
Baddeley, as well as Geoff Ogilvy and Bubba Watson, who have also been endorsing Travis Mathew, is not officially signed with the company.
“We are proud that all of these players have decided to wear our brand without contracts in place because they like it so much,” Chris Rosaasen, Travis Mathew CEO, said. “I think that says a lot about TM.”
The Travis Mathew brand is one to watch in 2010. Adding Baddeley to the mix definitely continues to spark our interest.
