Which celebs look best at Pebble Beach?
Friday, February 12, 2010
I found a few noteworthy and not-so-noteworthy looks at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. The celebrities are not only on the Monterey Coast to have fun, but are there to please the crowd with charisma and, most importantly, their outfits!
The first celebrity I noticed was new daddy and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. He must have been taking fashion tips from his supermodel wife, Gisele Bündchen, because he was looking better than ever. With his long locks, classic black cashmere sweater and charcoal gray pants, Brady was a sight to see. You can’t go wrong when you look like that and throw a football the way he does.
Someone with a not-so-noteworthy look was Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. I liked the attempt at the classic black and white ensemble, but he got it all wrong. The over-sized polo was just plain frumpy. The good news: He still looks great as a Cowboy.
Comedian George Lopez looked fun in his Ben Hogan era ensemble that featured a classy hat, plaid pants and cardigan. These are the type of outfits I expect the celebrities to sport at Pebble Beach.
Finally, I have to give Oliver Hudson the biggest thumbs up. I’m sure you have heard of actress Kate Hudson. But did you know about her stunner of a brother? He not only pulled off the classic Ben Hogan hat but mixed it with a Ralph Lauren-esque look that I could not keep my eyes off. He is definitely at the top of my leaderboard of style this week. He has won the overall look thus far, but there will be much more to see after Friday’s cut.
