Golf will return to the Olympics in the 2016 Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro, but one golf-specific apparel company is already making an appearance at the Winter Games in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Loudmouth Golf makes an Olympic appearance.

The Norwegian Curling Team is wearing clothes from Loudmouth Golf. The curlers came across their national colors in these funky-patterned pants two weeks before the Games began and figured it would be a fun way to show their patriotism.

They were right.

“My phone hasn’t stopped ringing and I can’t respond to the e-mails that are coming in this week quick enough,” wrote Alan L. Wallace, Loudmouth Golf’s vice president of sales, in an e-mail to me this morning. “I even have salesmen around the world getting calls from customers that want to stock their shelves with LMG.”

Curling isn’t the most invigorating sport to watch on TV, but the Loudmouth gear definitely brings a little more personality to the event. Following in the footsteps of someone like John Daly is sure to add some excitement to the scene.

The Norwegian team has been sporting various styles of LMG gear, including the Dixie and the Red and Gray pant (MSRP $90).
