Player of the Week: Monica Petchakan
Monica Petchakan, of Encino, Calif., shot 5-over 149 (74-75) at Oak Valley Golf Club in Beaumont, Calif., and won the Toyota Tour Cup Championship in a playoff.
Petchakan, 16, had seven birdies during the tournament and played the par 5s in 1 under. This is her fifth consecutive top-10 finish on the Southern California PGA Junior Tour, including two second-place finishes.
