EmailPGA professionals and fitters know the importance of using the right grip. First, a golfer should find a suitable texture and firmness. Second, there is the issue of size. Grips are made in different thicknesses, and standard grips can be enlarged with build-up tape underneath.
Regardless of the style, all grips should be changed at least once per year. Many clubmakers recommend changing grips every six months.

The skinny: After 20 years, Golf Pride’s popular Tour Wrap is getting a facelift. The changes, though, are more than skin deep – softer material, enhanced tackiness, two new colors (white and red) and a new Jumbo Tour Wrap with a straighter taper.
