Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana ’ilima

The skinny: The latest addition to the Diamana family, the ’ilima is an enhanced version of the Diamana Blue Board. Changes were based primarily on suggestions from touring pros. Designed as a low-spin shaft, it has stiffer tip and butt sections than the Blue Board.

Project X Graphite

The skinny: For 2010, Project X the steel iron shaft has grown into Project X the graphite wood and hybrid shaft. The overall philosophy is the same: provide a penetrating launch with ultra low spin. The shaft is based on Zonal Design Theory, which provides optimal performance in three zones – tip, mid and butt.

The skinny: Tour AD has been a successful and popular series, and the newest member of the family is Tour AD DI (Deep Impact). This shaft features the company’s Nanomaterial technology in the tip section, and it has a midbend profile.

Aldila VooDoo NV

The skinny: For 2010, the new VooDoo NV joins the VooDoo VS in the lineup. What’s the difference? The NV (red and black color scheme) has a stiffer tip and provides a lower launch angle than the VS (green and black).

Fujikura Motore Speeder shaft

The skinny: As the newest version of the Speeder, Fujikura’s most recognizable shaft, the Motore Speeder shares the same Speeder mission statement – maximum stability and speed while eliminating deformation of the shaft at impact. There are two versions of the shaft: blue (a stiffer overall profile) and red (slightly softer).
