Folks attending PGA Show lack style

ORLANDO, Fla. – The PGA Merchandise Show is a golf wonderland. This place is better than what any golf nut could ever dream. Gadgets and gizmos galore! But that’s not why I’m here. I’ve been roaming the fashion aisles at the Orange County Convention Center to find the perfect outfits for 2010.

However, I was disappointed on Day 1 with the lack of fashion invading the aisles. There were people wearing obnoxiously bright colors, crazy patterns and usually bad combinations all over the place – the kind of choices from which I have warned many to steer clear. It seems that the ones sporting these frightful ensembles are the ones who are also promoting their brand – boothless! Is this the new move? Walking around with the delusion of what fashion really is?

Quick tip: Unless your name is Ian Poulter, avoid these earth-shattering looks at all costs.

On a more positive note, the apparel booths are making some very appealing statements and I cannot wait to share all the goods with you on Friday. Stay tuned . . .
