Rawson gets engaged to talent executive

OAKMONT, Pa. – Sorry, boys. Model Anna Rawson is off the market. The Australian LPGA player is newly engaged to Ted Chervin, head of worldwide television at International Creative Management in Los Angeles. Chervin proposed to Rawson in the Presidential Suite of a Four Seasons hotel in Hawaii last month, complete with roses and candles.
Rawson qualified for her first U.S. Women’s Open this year. The former USC player has struggled mightily in 2010, failing to make a cut in seven events. Judging by the huge rock on her left hand, though, Rawson’s personal life is going well.
When asked for the size of her diamond, Rawson said she had no idea but that 270 diamonds surrounded the stone. Chervin bought the ring from Martin Katz, who Rawson said designs diamonds for “all the stars in Beverly Hills.”
Chervin lives in Brentwood, Calif., and plays to a 10-handicap at Sherwood Country Club, where Wayne Gretzky is a member.
“My caddie won’t let me leave it (in the bag),” she said laughing. “He says, ‘I don’t want to be responsible.’ ”
Judging by the look of this rock, it would take two lifetimes of looping to replace it.
