Chappell leads Gretzky Classic by five

Kevin Chapell has extended his lead to five shots at the Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic. The former UCLA star shot 3-under 68 at the Georgian Bay Club in Clarksburg, Ontario to get to 22-under 192.

Chappell, No. 3 on the Nationwide Tour money list, took an immediate lead with a first-round 61. He remains bogey-free for the championship.

Keegan Bradley (70) is five shots back of Chappell at 17-under 197. Gavin Coles (65) and Bobby Gates (67) are T-3 at 15 under.

Four more players are tied for fifth another shot back, including Daniel Summerhays (65), Martin Piller (67), Peter Tomasulo (67) and Justin Hicks (68).
