Against all odds, Paul “Sunshine” Goydos has made it to the World Golf Hall of Fame.

Well, a clarification is in order. Lest you think the golf shrine allows anyone in, consider that several of his accessories are on display in St. Augustine, Fla.

The ball he used to hole out for a historic 59 July 8 at the John Deere Classic now rests in a glass case for visitors to inspect. Same goes for the hat, shirt and pants Goydos wore that day.

I would go and check it all out, except that what I really want to see are his socks and glove and maybe shoes.
