Poulter talks fashion, plays Wii on ‘Fallon’
You know you’ve made a mark when you’re asked to be a guest on a late night TV show. Ian Poulter was a guest Monday on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” There was plenty of discussion about Poulter’s IJP Designs clothing line and his interest in fashion.
“I didn’t want to be like everyone else,” Poulter said. “I think for a couple of years I was bored with how people looked on the golf course, I wanted my own identity. IJP Designs grew and three and half years later I’m pushing out a variety of tartans.”
Fallon showed several of Poulter’s most outrageous looks, including his infamous homage to the Union Jack and his metallic polo that he wore in India.
“Very ‘Caddyshack’ or ‘Animal House’ of you,” Fallon said to Poulter. “You’ve got some pretty nice duds.”
Poulter and Fallon even played the new Tiger Woods EA Sports video game. Check out the clip below.
