PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – The U.S. Golf Association announced that the 2018 U.S. Amateur and 2019 U.S. Open will be held at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

It will be Pebble Beach’s sixth U.S. Open (1972, ’82, ’92, ’00 and ’10).

Pebble Beach hosted the U.S. Amateur and U.S. Open in consecutive years, in 1999 and 2000. David Gossett won that U.S. Amateur, followed by Tiger Woods’ 15-shot Open victory.

The 2019 U.S. Open will coincide with Pebble Beach's 100th anniversary.

Pebble Beach also hosted the U.S. Amateur in 1929, 1947 and 1961.

The USGA also confirmed what Golfweek reported on Monday, that Erin Hills will be the site of the 2017 U.S. Open.
