PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – A moment ago, the top three lines of the leaderboard read:

De Jonge, B.

Cabrera-Bello, R.

Richardson, M.

Actually, we are at the U.S. Open. But it is Thursday. And Thursdays often are about pretenders, dreamers, has-beens and never weres.

This is their 15 minutes. Let them enjoy.
