MADRID, Spain – Seve Ballesteros, who has been battling brain cancer for more than a year, has fully recovered after falling off a golf cart and banging his head on the ground last week in Pedrena, northern Spain.

Ballesteros, 52, a two-time Masters champion and three-time winner of the British Open, underwent hospital exams for four days before being discharged. The Spaniard hit his head on the ground when he fell out of the vehicle.

In 2008, Ballesteros underwent surgery after being diagnosed with a brain tumor.
