Marygrove College, an NAIA school located in northwest Detroit, announced Wednesday that it will add men’s and women’s golf programs beginning this fall.

The school said in a release that an official search for a coach is under way. The addition of the golf programs comes days after launching the Urban Golf Project, which will bring a state-of-the-art golf practice facility to the college. The facility, designed by golf course architect Tom Doak, will feature a putting green, sand bunker, two practice tees and a four-hole course.
