Are the Tour pros reading this?
Bay Hill… Babe Hill, there really is no difference this week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando, Fla. With an assortment of tight-fitting polos, bright spring colors and some very fit men – it leaves the ladies no choice but to drool over more than just the pros’ golf games. All sound too good to be true?
Well, get used to it because the boys of the PGA tour are back in full bloom. Thank goodness!
So, what I am thinking is one of two things: Either these guys have been reading our blog for crucial fashion advice or their trainers have been working overtime. All in all, I am a very happy fashionista.
Sure, Mike Weir shot 5 under yesterday, but does that even come close to that gorgeous Second Skin purple polo? All the more reason to believe that he read my blog from a couple weeks ago in which I told him how great he looked in purple. And he is definitely spiffing it up with the white pants and belt to coordinate.
Then, there is Ernie Els. What the heck happened to Mr. Frumpy? Coincidentally, he disappeared between Doral and my comments on last week’s blog. All I can say is, WOW! The black-and-gray Callaway ensemble looks both sharp and classy. This is truly the first time that I have seen Ernie in something form-fitting. And yesterday’s 2 under wasn’t bad either. But if he can consistently combine the look and the game you can be sure I won’t be changing the channel anytime soon.
Last, and certainly not least, there is Graeme McDowell – who was delightfully gracing us with his coral presence. Not too many men can pull off this color, but McDowell did so and more… I just hope that you had the pleasure of witnessing such a perfectly-put together look. It was bright, form fitting, combined with perfect cream slacks to top it off. I would vote it as an overall head-to-toe Stuburt masterpiece. And although he only finished at 1 under yesterday, he is unquestionably at the top of the leaderboard in style.
