LaCrosse wins first Futures Tour title

Cindy LaCrosse shot a bogey-free 5-under 68 Sunday to win the Duramed Futures Tour’s Riviera Nayarit Challenge.
LaCrosse, a 2009 Louisville graduate, finished at 10-under 209 at El Tigre Golf and Country Club in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, for her first tour title. She finished third last week at the season-opening Florida’s Natural Charity Classic.
LaCrosse earned $21,000 for her victory.
Second-round leader Jennie Lee (72) bogeyed the par-3 17th and finished a shot back at 210.
Chelsea Curtis (69) was third at 211. Hannah Jun (70) and Gerina Mendoza (69) tied for fourth.
Mallory Blackwelder, who started the final round tied for second, bogeyed two of her last three holes, shot 74 and tied for ninth.
