Fashion studs are back after weekend wins
Tuesday, May 18, 2010
In the fashion world, what goes around comes back around. Little did we know that this applies to the game of golf, too.
Last weekend two of our favorite and incredibly fashion-savvy players took titles on both the LPGA and PGA tours.
Adam Scott and Se Ri Pak are back, folks. After an oh-too-long absence from the top of the leaderboard, these two firecrackers have graced us with their presence again.
Scott, after a two-year drought on the PGA Tour, won the Texas Valero Open.
I have been anticipating a Ralph Lauren clothing deal for Scott for months now. Do you think this win might up the ante? It would be hard for Scott to turn down a brand that would not only make him look fabulous, but also has a winning tradition.
Pak stylishly fought her way through a three-hole playoff against Brittany Lincicome and Suzann Pettersen to win the Bell Micro LPGA Classic. This also was a drought-ending victory for Pak. Her last LPGA came in 2007. And although it may have been difficult in the rain to look like a fashionista, Pak pulled it off rather well in an adorable fitted plaid polo.
Our favorite stars are back in full bloom and their style is better than ever.
