Twelve teams are within 10 shots of each other after the first round of the NCAA Southwest Regional in Carlton Oaks Golf Club in Santee, Calif.

Top-seeded Oregon was led by an even-par 72 Thursday from Daniel Miernicki and a 73 from Andrew Vijarro.

Second-seeded UNLV got a 68 from Eddie Olson. No other Running Rebel posted a score better than 74.

Southern Mississippi’s Paul Apyan and CSU-Northridge’s Nick Delio, both playing as individuals, were tied for fourth at 71.
