The Boilermakers edged USC May 22 to win their first NCAA Championship and deliver the Pac-10 Conference its first national title. Led by junior Maude-Aimee LeBlanc, who carded a final-round 71 to tie for third individually, Purdue shot a four-round total of 1-over 1,153, nipping favored USC by one at the Country Club of Landfall (Dye Course).
