Watney replaces Kaymer at Chevron Challenge
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Fresh off winning his first European Tour money title, PGA champion Martin Kaymer has withdrawn from the Chevron World Challenge.
Kaymer wrapped up the Order of Merit on Sunday when he tied for 13th in the Dubai World Championship.
He was replaced in the 18-man field at Sherwood Country Club by Nick Watney.
The Chevron World Challenge, hosted by Tiger Woods, starts Thursday. All 18 players are among the top 50 in the world ranking.
