Jordan Spieth, of Dallas, won three points for the U.S. at the Junior Ryder Cup, played at The Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, Scotland. The U.S. retained the Cup, beating Europe 13 1/2-10 1/2.

Spieth, 17, teamed with Anthony Paolucci to win by the largest margin in foursomes, beating Albert Eckhardt and Kristoffer Ventura, 5 and 4. In afternoon four-balls, Spieth and Alison Lee took down Chris Lloyd and Amy Boulden, 3 and 2. Spieth won his singles match against Eckhardt, 3 and 1.
