Wednesday, October 20, 2010

Kendall Dusenberry of Santa Clarita, Calif., has given a verbal commitment to play golf for San Diego State in the fall of 2012. Dusenberry also made unofficial visits to Arizona State, San Francisco and Long Beach State, and also considered California, Stanford and Oregon.

Dusenberry is looking forward to playing The Farms Golf Club and Sycuan Golf Resort, two of San Diego State’s home courses. Playing for head coach Emilee Klein also helped Dusenberry make her decision.

“I think she’s the perfect coach for me,” Dusenberry said.

Dusenberry, who is recovering from wrist surgery Sept. 14, finished T-6 at the AJGA’s Ping Phoenix Junior in June and T-14 at the ClubCorp Mission Hills Desert Junior.
