Player of the Week: Cody Proveaux
Cody Proveaux, of Leesville, S.C., shot 6-under 282 (72-70-67-73) at Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Ind., to win the Junior PGA Championship by one shot.
Proveaux, 17, trailed by seven shots after 36 holes but made a comeback in Round 3. The Junior PGA is the first major stroke play title for Proveaux, who also won the Polo Junior last fall.
