Golf simulator company AboutGolf announced it formed a partnership with the European Tour to develop co-branded, golf performance technology products.

Details of the agreement nor specifics about the products were not disclosed, but an official with the European Tour Performance Institute said the partnership aligns with the ETPI’s mission.

“We see the immeasurable benefit their unique technology can bring to the proactive work we do with European Tour players and their coaches on Tour in the ETPI Physio Unit, and to the game in general,” Fredrik Lindgren, head of ETPI for the European Tour, said in a statement. “We want to be involved.”

The new products, including software designed for game improvement, are expected to be released over the next two years.

Currently, the European Tour Performance Institute is using the Ohio-based AboutGolf’s equipment in evaluating methodology that addresses improving golf skills and sport-specific fitness.
