The son of Champions Tour golfer Dana Quigley was seriously injured in a car accident Wednesday night after the BMW he was driving crashed into a semi-truck in Riviera Beach, Fla., according to a report in The Palm Beach Post.
Devon Quigley, 27, suffered severe brain trauma and remains in critical condition at St. Mary’s Medical Center, according to the report. Police said that Quigley, a former golfer at Rhode Island who plays on the South Florida mini-tours, crashed his car at about 11:15 p.m. as he was headed home to West Palm Beach, where he lives with his father, Dana.
“All we’re trying to do is keep him alive at this point,” Dana Quigley told the Post.
Dana Quigley, 64, has lived in Palm Beach County for years. He is an 11-time winner on the Champions Tour.
