Play starts in Phoenix after 4-hour delay
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Play has started in the Phoenix Open after a four-hour delay because of heavy frost at TPC Scottsdale.
It was 39 degrees Thursday when the first round began at 11:40 a.m.
Frost and frozen turf wiped out the pro-am round Wednesday and a frost delay is expected Friday morning.
