Player of the Week: Matthew NeSmith
Matthew NeSmith, of North Augusta, S.C., shot 4-under 139 (68-71) at the Sea Pines Resort’s Ocean Course and Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island, S.C., to win the Sea Pines Junior Heritage by three shots.
NeSmith, 17, qualified for the Junior World Championship in 2010, finishing is T-37, and also won two local South Carolina events, the George Holliday and the Orange Jacket. He has committed to South Carolina for the fall of 2012.
