Heritage Food Service Equipment has reached an agreement to sponsor the 2011 Junior PGA Championship, the PGA of America announced Tuesday. The 36th Junior PGA will be held Aug. 2-5 at Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Ind.

“The PGA of America is very proud that Heritage FSE is supporting one of our premier championships, the Junior PGA Championship,” said Allen Wronowski, the new president of the PGA of America. “Heritage FSE is a leader in providing quality service and products in the commercial kitchen industry as well as being a lead voice in the Fort Wayne community. We look forward to partnering with them for the summer’s premier junior championship.”

Past champions of the Junior PGA include major winners Cristie Kerr, Trevor Immelman and David Toms. Last year, Denny McCarthy and Cassy Isagawa captured the title at the rain-shortened event at Sycamore Hills.

Both the boys’ and girls’ winner at the Junior PGA will receive an automatic spot on the 2012 Junior Ryder Cup team.
