Jordan charity tourney relocates to Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS – Officials say tickets are on sale for Michael Jordan’s celebrity golf tournament in North Las Vegas.
Officials for MGM Resorts International said Wednesday that the tournament from March 31 through April 3 marks the first time its Shadow Creek golf course will be open to the public.
The tournament is in its 10th year but is being held in Sin City for the first time.
Officials say this year’s tournament will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the James R. Jordan Foundation, Cats Care, Nevada Cancer Institute and other charities.
Shadow Creek is one of the most exclusive courses anywhere, with admittance usually restricted to guests of MGM Resorts. Casino billionaire Steve Wynn built the course, and MGM Resorts bought it when it bought Wynn’s casino company.
