Martin	Jason Day Day has finished in the top 10 in five of his past six starts, including runners-up at two majors. Hard to pick against him.	John Merrick Merrick is having a steady season as he tries to regain full status on Tour. He's finished 11th-9th-15th in his past three starts.	Winner: Ryan Moore (T-68); wild card: Kevin Streelman (T-15).

McCabe	Steve Marino No great history at the Deere, to speak of. But there's plenty of great history of strong performances without having cashed through, so here's a guess that this could be the week.	Andres Romero Has quietly been playing very steady golf. Has been 71 or better in 20 of his last 24 rounds and seems to be primed for something special.	Winner: Hunter Mahan (T-30); wild card: Sean O'Hair (MC).

Ringler	Steve Stricker If he does not find the top of the leaderboard come Sunday afternoon, he will be close. Stricker is the winner of the last two John Deere Classic and has seven consecutive top 20 finishes. Oh yea, and he is the No. 1 player in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index.	Tommy Gainey Why Gainey? Because the average winner on the PGA tour heading into the week this year according to the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index is 112.6. Gainey checks in at 113 this week!	Winner: J.B. Holmes (T-68); wild card: Mark Wilson (MC).

Miceli	Steve Stricker It's easy to pick him because he is the highest ranked player in the field, but it's also hard to pick him because he has won two consecutive Deere's, but with a win a month ago and playing a schedule he likes, I'll take Stricker.	Charles Howell III Things have to change for Charlie three sticks, he has to win eventually and the Deere seems like a good place for it.	Winner: Ryan Moore (T-68); wild card: Tom Gillis (T-25)
