Rank Winner Wild Card Last Week
Babineau Graeme McDowell

This is a place where the wind gets up and players have to fight for pars, so it takes a player with a little grit to contend. I'll take the Ulsterman and give the Bear Trap two a side.

Y.E. Yang

Though he went largely unnoticed, Yang played well at the Match Play, and he has great memories here at PGA National, where he got his major championship year off and running in 2009 with an early-season victory in South Florida.

Winner: Brian Gay (T-5); wild card: Aaron Baddeley (MC)

Rude Vijay Singh

Has found good form after a couple of years plagued by injury. A pair of top-3s on West Coast. Also T-4 last year at Honda before getting hurt.

Ian Poulter

Big-time player who has slipped out of Golfweek top 50 but has game to contend anywhere.

Winner: Carl Pettersson (MC); wild card: Aaron Baddeley (MC).

Martin Vijay Singh

Singh has finished in the top-3 twice this year. He was fourth at last year’s Honda. Singh has said improved putting is behind his recent good play. A strong putter is an important asset on a tough course like PGA National.

Fredrik Jacobson

The Swede has made four of five cuts this year, finishing 33rd or better each time. He finished sixth at last year’s Honda and fifth in 2009. PGA National is one of the PGA Tour’s hardest courses, but Jacobson has shot par or better in seven of his past eight rounds there.

Winner: Jhonattan Vegas (T-19); wild card: Spencer Levin (2).

McCabe Lee Westwood

Oh, those wild and crazy Euros, they're finding the world rankings to be a blast these days, so why shouldn't the Englishman make a bid to regain the top spot? He was T-9 here a year ago and with PGA National being a ball-striker's course, it suits Westwood splendidly.

Jason Dufner

He's been throwing himself into the hunt consistently and seems on the verge of finally breaking through.

Winner: Chad Campbell (MC); wild card: David Toms (T-6).

Ringler Lee Westwood

Afterall, he is the No. 1 ranked player in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index.

Spencer Levin

Levin lost in a playoff last week at Mayakoba continue his good form. Prior to that had finished T12 and T4.

Winner: Fredrik Jacobson (T-19); wild card: Fabian Gomez (T-50).

Miceli Lee Westwood

You have to figure after losing in the second round and then losing his No. 1 world ranking that the Englishman has a little pent up frustration. A win of course should get him back to No. 1.

Tom Gillis

Not a Flroida guy, hails from Detroit, but lives in the sunshine state now and loves playing at home, which is just up the street. Had a good west coast, but will have a better Florida swing.

Winner: Brian Gay (T-6); wild card: Jhonattan Vegas (T-19).
