Odds stacked against Woods at Doral

DORAL, Fla. – Tiger Woods won his last event on the PGA Tour in 2009 when he captured the BMW Championship on his way to winning the FedEx Cup that year.

He also won the last of his 16 WGC championships that year at the Bridgestone Invitational in August.

In those 16 WGC victories, Woods likely came in as the favorite, as he did last month when he was 12/1 to win the Accenture Match Play Championship, where he lost in the first round to Denmark's Thomas Bjorn.

When Woods tees it up on Thursday in the first round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral he will – for the first time in a long time – not be the favorite.

Las Vegas has picked World No. 1 Martin Kaymer as the favorite at 10/1 with Woods at 12/1 and Phil Mickelson and Graeme McDowell at 15/1.
